Good morning, Taipei.

Today is the first Monday of November. Wow, we are down with less than 2 months in 2025.

Do you know today is National Sandwich Day, the birthday of John Montagu, the 4th Earl of Sandwich, from the English town of Sandwich in Kent, who is the inventor of the sandwich. The legend said that because John likes to play cards and did not want the oil from meat to be on his paper cards, he asked his son to put it into a slice of bread. This is the story of how we now have delicious sandwiches.

Grab a sandwich today to celebrate it.

It was a little bit of a shower in the morning, so I didn’t run for long. I also changed from the running track to the seawall today.

今天是11月的第一個禮拜一，日子過好快，再不到兩個月2025年就要畫下休止符了。

你知道今天是國際三明治日嗎？

11月3日三明治日並不是一個隨機挑選的日子，而是用來慶祝第四公爵約翰・蒙塔古（John Montagu）貴族的生日（雖然也有資料顯示他是11月13日生日），約翰是「三明治伯爵」（Earl of Sandwich），他非常喜歡兩片麵包中間夾肉的吃法，因為這樣可以讓他一邊吃東西一邊打牌而不弄髒紙牌。據說他是三明治發明者。

今天吃個三明治來慶祝三明治節吧！

方方今天換個地方跑步，來到河濱公園，但因為後來開始飄雨了就跑一下下而已。
