An Ice Bath Tuesday

體驗冰浴的週二
It is such a different experience. It started with a stretch and breathing session in the sauna. Then I hit the first ice bath at 12°C for 2 minutes.
I thought I would feel some pain, but it was fine—I only felt it was colder for the first 30 seconds, and that is it.
We then did some stretching again right out of the ice bath. When I returned to the sauna room, it was not as hot as it had been the first time. I did three rounds of ice baths, going straight into the 8°C bath for rounds 2 and 3.
I am very proud of myself for my first ice bath experience.
冰浴體驗真的是一個蠻不同的感受。
方方今天來嘗試 Ice Bath,這是國外近幾年很流行的新活動。(雖然泡冰已經有超過五千年的歷史)
一開始先是在桑拿做伸展,然後我第一次嘗試的是攝氏12度的冰池,一次2分鐘。
說真的,我本來以為會有疼痛的感覺。但沒想到,我只有前30秒的時候覺得水溫很冰,後面就正常了。
離開冰浴後,我們在池邊針對末梢神經又做了一些伸展。很神奇的是,第二次回到桑拿室的時候,已經不覺得這麼熱了。
今天我熱桑拿與冰池來回總共做了三輪,第二、三次冰池我試了攝氏八度的。
我覺得今天超棒的!
