Brunch at XinFu Market

If you were like me, who grew up in Taipei, the chance that you have visited XinFu Market is high. After all, the market has been establishedi n 1935 and has now become a historic site in Taipei’s Wanhua District.
I was here a few years back, but I didn’t know you could reserve a spot by ordering a drink. The shop has a variety of plates and bowls for you to go food shopping in the traditional market. How fun is this?
We ordered silkie chicken thighs, marinated clams, sashimi, assorted oden, marinated pork liver, and Taiwanese sticky rice. They were tasty and reminded me of my childhood.
What a good Sunday.
如果你跟方方一樣也是在台北長大，也許你也來過新富町文化市場（前身為新富町食料品小賣市場／東三水街市場）；畢竟它建於 1935 年，並於 2006 年被指定為歷史文化資產，是萬華區重要的市集。
幾年前我與父母親來過，但當時沒有體驗到坐下來點一杯飲料，然後端著盤子上旁邊的東三水市場買下酒菜來享用。多好玩啊！
今天我們點了幾杯飲料，在市場買了關東煮、鹹蜆仔跟蛤蜊、烏骨雞腿、生魚片、豬肝、阿婆油飯；好吃，又滿滿的小時候的回憶。
真是開心的週日。
