Day 6 - Italian Food

EATALY 義大利餐廳
Today is a great day in the NorCal because I finally conquered the jet lag. I slept in, and by the time I’m ready to go out and about, it is already the afternoon.
I picked this Italian place called EATALY so I can sit down and have something to eat. I have been here with my sister before—it’s a casual place where you can eat, drink, and hang out.
The pasta I tried today is Tagliatelle Alla Norcina, a housemade Tagliatelle with sausage, porcini mushrooms, and black truffles, and it is delicious.
I also ordered lamb Arrosticini, a grilled Abruzzese lamb skewer on top of their house-made rustic bread to add protein to today’s diet.
What a fulfilling night before I returned to the hotel to work on tasks for next week.
今天是方方這趟來美國以來最精神好的一天,主要因為時差已經調好了。早上睡到飽後才東摸西摸、整理資料,到準備出門時都已經下午了。
我老早打算去一家叫做EATALY的義大利餐廳吃東西,這是一家我跟姐姐以前來過幾次的餐廳。印象中,這是一家輕鬆的餐廳,有吃的、有喝的、氣氛也不錯。
我今天點了一個義大利麵叫做Tagliatelle Alla Norcina,tagliatelle 是一種義大利的寬麵,而Alla Norcina是指來自義大利Norcia城鎮的一種特別煮法,這烹調方法特別會使用香腸還有奶油來煮義大利麵。
我還點了Arrosticini 烤羊肉串,這是一種義大利街邊食物,是源自義大利中部阿布魯佐(Abruzzese)地區的特色美食,讓晚餐多點蛋白質。
飽餐一頓後,回飯店繼續整理點明天要用的資料。
