Saying Goodbye to 2025 and Welcoming 2026

告別2025年迎接2026 新年

I am going to try something different this time. Instead of showing photos in the time order from the beginning of the day, I’m going to do it upside down. This way, fireworks are in the first set of photos.

As I say goodbye to last year, 2025 was a different year for me—many new adventures and challenges, wrapping up and closures, discoveries and reflections. In response, I have made various significant decisions and calls—primarily proactive. Still, some decisions were ad hoc due to a new turn in the scene; some new cards need to be played to have the best response and remain optimal; and some were made to be cautious or simply to plan ahead.

Without going into details, I am proud to say that I have lived a caring, colourful, decisive, productive, breakthrough, and fun year in 2025.

On the last day of 2025, I had such a wonderful day. I did my routine—morning jogging, hand-drip coffee, breakfast, working—before meeting up with my dear friends to celebrate the New Year.

On a side note, I found my Goyard card case that went missing for a year, surprisingly. The black-and-tan card case was my first-ever Goyard item and holds all my IDs. I was so excited when I opened a purse I hadn’t used in a long time; the card case sat right there, waiting for me—this must be my happiest lost-and-found.

The food last night was great. I ordered a special dish, squid and whelks with leeks, which is not even on the menu but is a very typical Taiwanese dish. Thank you to Minoru for the Juyondai Sake he bought—it was so delicious, we drank it up like we were parched.

It was raining last night, so the fireworks from 101 were quite hazy. Nevertheless, it was a great night to welcome 2026.

方方向來的照片順序都是隨著一天的時間先後順序，但今天我想來點不一樣，我想要把最後的照片先放上來，因為這樣子，昨天晚上101煙火的照片才會先看到。

方方也來回顧一下2025年。去年2025年對我來說是個蠻不一樣的一年：許多新的挑戰跟冒險，不同層級的告別、收尾與結束，有新的發現、體悟及沉澱。

而因應這些不同，2025年我也迅速地落實了一些重大的決定。這些決定絕大多數是我稍微聞到風吹，就決定預先地主動立刻處理，草都不讓它動。但當然也有一些臨時的狀況，需要大動作的突然轉舵，甚至過程中，我也打了幾次亂章才維持讓自己處在最優、最佳解（賽局理論裡的「最佳回應」Best Response），我也做了一些決定讓自己更一勞永逸地來小心謹慎處事，以及為將來規劃發展的鋪路訂下來的硬規則。

簡言之，方方在此很驕傲地說：2025年我過得非常精彩、充實、滿滿的愛與關懷、冒險、闖關、豐收又好玩。

昨天在最後一天的2025年，我一樣過得非常好；如常完成每天的晨跑、手沖咖啡、早餐、工作，然後才跟親愛的朋友們碰面，一起跨年。

一個題外話，我昨天跨年前找到了我心愛的Goyard卡片夾耶！這個黑色咖啡色的卡夾是我人生第一件Goyard，而且它失蹤了超過一年了。裡面的信用卡及證件，老早在年初掛失報銷補辦。結果昨天我剛好難得拿出一個很久沒用的小包，打開拉鏈發現它躺在裡面等我。這真是史上最開心的失而復得。

昨天晚上的菜色極佳，我點了一個螺肉蒜，一個經典台灣人的過年菜。謝謝小嶋帶來這麼好喝的十四代清酒，我們一群人很口渴般把它喝完了。

而因為下雨的緣故，跨年的 101 煙火就在煙霧瀰漫中完成。但昨晚仍然是一個超棒的夜晚，共同迎接2026年的到來。
